Blizzard have updated the StarCraft 2 Public Test Realm with a bunch of sweet new features, including — of primary interest to this writer — the addition of the classic StarCraft 1 soundtrack.

There’s also quite a few other additions, such as Extension Mods which improve the map creation experience for both players and authors, and a new AFK lobby feature which will prompt you after a period of inactivity, and then boot you if you don’t respond — even if you’re the host.

Check out the full Battle.net post for details on how to get in, and the rest of the update details.

wow so many great features being added on

but… who didn’t already just listen to the starcraft 1 terran soundtrack when they play sc2 anyway? o.O

Oh i love that soundtrack… played so much sc1.

The AFK feature is long overdue. So annoying when the host goes afk and you just want to start the game as no one else has come for 10mins.
