A whole month? Better get my brain-a-thunkin’.

Woo, VOTE FOR ALL THE THINGS

Except my most disappointing was probably a weirder choice than many would have picked, but for games I’ve played I found Arkham Origins the most disappointing.

Also gogo Adventures of Van Helsing for most surprising :D

Simulation of the year – Brutal Legend?

I wonder how many votes Aliens:CM will get for FPS of the year?

The Last of Us – are we not including this game in the lists because it’s a console only game?

Probably less than it will get for most disappointing game of the year!

Good luck everyone.

That’s correct unfortunately, we are only including PC games in this list.

Simulation of the year – Brutal Legend?

It has RTS components, so it goes in there (but I doubt it will win)

Thats weird Simulation and Strategy combined? One of the only two genres I play these days id Vote for Arma 3 as simulator and Airland battle as Strategy. I thought bioshock infinite was quite good too it suprised me.

I put Aliens:CM as most surprising and also most dissapointing – due to the fact it surprised everyone with just how damn sh1t it really was. Then once again to see the Aliens franchise get another crappy addition was very dissapointing!

Now, tell us a bit about yourself.
(Not too much!)

Which ISP are you with? *

I see what you did there iiNet :P

Also GOTY MineCraft FTW!
FAIL of the Year SimCity XD

Unexpected game i played this year that blew me away. BULLETSTORM! (Xbox 360 Controller)

Most disappointing, that’s a toughy…

It really, really didn’t!

Well that’s is a shame, for such a good game not to be listed. I can understand being a PC centric site.

I cannot see my self winning this comp then lol, Had to vote for the best game imo.

Chivalry deadliest warrior for the most disappointing, the fans wanted an expansion for medieval warrior and they get some joke of a TV show (the things torn banner learnt making that also broke/ruined the base game, new players haven’t been able to unlock weapons for the past few months)

Tomb Raider 2013 got my vote for most suprising. I have never finished (or rather enjoyed) a Tomb Raider game, then this little gem came along and blew my socks off.

Not to give away which game I voted for game of the year, but is there any reason that Saints Row IV is in the Action game of the year list, but not in the overall game of the year list?

Most disappointing game of the year:

SimCity *cough*

crit,

I was amazed not to see that in list. Maybe EA paid a bribe? I added it anyway :)

EDIT – Call of Juarez Gunslinger got a lot of votes from me :) ..as did State of Decay.

kablekill,

Kind of agree, sometimes I wonder why there needs to be a PC focus here..games are games, regardless of platform, and it can feel a little limiting to the news and discussion to not include common platforms.

..Also, a distinct lack of Racing/Driving category to this survey :(
