Bethesda has nothing to show at Spike VGX this year

The trademark was fake. The teaser site looked extremely fake. And now Bethesda boss Pete Hines has confirmed on Twitter that the publisher has nothing to show at Spike VGX this year. You know what this means? We can stop holding out breath for the Fallout 4 reveal.

I know you’re disappointed. We never really believed in it, but we wanted to, you know? Because Fallout 3 and even Fallout: New Vegas seem like forever ago.

Besides, Bethesda’s core studio has had months to pump out a new game since it signed off on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. What on earth could it possibly be doing? Putting together a game engine and design that will be as significantly advanced over Fallout 3 as Skyrim was over Oblivion?!

Ohhh. Yeah, I guess we can wait. (In all seriousness, Bethesda has not confirmed its next project is Fallout 4. We only know it thinks it is “awesome” and it’s probably years off.)

Allah be praised, I was dreading that FO4 was legit.

Doom 4? I can only hope. Doom 3 is my favourite game of all time, its not without its faults, but it harks back to an in between phase of the gaming industry, before the halo’s and call of duty’s, to include health packs and ammo pick-ups, and no checkpoints. but it is very linear, but its claustrophobia’s part of its charm, u actually feel like your stuck on a lunar base under attack from demon’s.

and it looked a hellova lot better than any of its contemporay games, except for Half Life 2, doom3 came out in 2004, name me one game that looked better? Battlefield was only up to about vietnam, and that looked and played like shit, in comparison

TES: Elsweyr, comes with up to 4 player coop

**** Fallout.

Seriously though, i should probably get Fallout 3, never played it haha.

@Alice “We can stop holding out breath for the Fallout 4 reveal.” WRONG Again!

This is clearly a sign that it is in development. but it’s probably not at a point where it’s worth showing off publicly.

nekosan,

Tes has been binned for the time being awaiting tes:o if tes:o is a success we likely won’t see another tes game for some time.

Fallout might happen but alot of developers are working on tes:o atm (im aware the claim is that it’s all zenimax and beth aren’t working on it but thats not accurate).

Honewtly I’d like to see a new I.p for the new gen…
