Those of you who stumped up for Premium membership of Battlefield 4 can enjoy the first expansion pack, China Rising, when it unlocks shortly today.

China Rising brings four new maps — Silk Road, Altai Range, Guilin Peaks and Dragon Pass — and five new guns to the mix.

There’s also two more vehicles, two more gadgets, an Air Superiority game mode, and ten new assignments. Delicious.

It’ll be another two weeks until the rest of you can get into it, so enjoy it while you can, Premiums! If you’d like to become a Premium, it will cost you $60.

GON you have a great site, i rely on it for 90% of my gaming news, so if you make posts about things like this, could you add an unlock time too please?

Anyone find it odd that we’ve seen more info about Second Assault than we have about China Rising?

No, fair call! Apologies spike, will try to put stuff like that in.

mindsnare,

If I understood the video I watched recently then apparently xbox users already have second assault which means more info about it than china rising!

Or just a hair under $50 from G2Play using the CDKEY5PRICES code ;)

Most Key sites have it around the $50 mark. There are a few codes going around too, some use cdkeyprices, others that in all caps. So keep your eyes peeled :)

Yeh nice one mate, worked. You just saved me a few bucks thanks.
You also get a free random steam key at the moment if buying a game through g2play!

I bought Premium through Amazon for $50.

Such a shame that EA moved away from the US$1 = AU$1″ pricing model they used for BF3 Premium on Origin.

EDIT: Also, patch the servers please.
