Another game set in the Sleeping Dogs universe is under development, according to developer United Front Games, who have dubbed the game “Triad Wars”.

“We’re super-excited that it’s another game based in the Sleeping Dogs universe, it’s something we’ve wanted to do for ages, and we’re very happy to be working with Square Enix again,” say United Front on their website.

“But that’s all we can give you for the time being – we’ll have more information about what the game’s going to be in 2014.”

We had a great time with Sleeping Dogs on PC when it launched — get our review here.

As someone who’s playing the snot out of the game currently, I can’t wait for a sequel.

Yeah I love this game, happy to get a sequel!

Great ride! It struck the perfect balance between sandbox and a strong story I felt.

I had no interest in anything but the story… for me personally it would have had the same impact as a movie, didn’t much enjoy the sandbox elements.

Excellent news! This was a wonderful play through.

Absolutely fantastyc news. This has to be my favourite sandbox game to date. It’s mixture of story and martial arts over gunplay made it fantastic in my eyes.
