Neverwinter to get new Hunter Ranger class, new Paragon Paths

Is it a hunter or is it a ranger? Well in Neverwinter it’s apparently both: the new Hunter Ranger class is set to launch later this year with the upcoming ‘Shadowmantle’ expansion, free of charge to all Neverwinter players.

The Hunter Ranger is designed to be a quick, mobile class with a mix of melee and ranged attacks, for players who can think fast on their feet in the heat of battle. Pressing tab swaps the Hunter Ranger between ranged and melee modes, with melee mode being a classic pair of dual blades.

‘Shadowmantle’ will also bring a new Paragon Path to every class, which means at level 30 everyone will have to make a choice of how to specialise. The Control Wizard will get a new Master of Flame path, the Devoted Cleric will get the Anointed Champion path, and the Great Weapon Fighter and the Guardian Fighter will get access to each other’s paths.

Oh sweet, so theyre releasing the class we were promised “shortly after launch”… the class I buy these games to play…

Better hope you never get to end game. Worst endgame ever. Very disappointing.

 

Was a weird MMO for me, I REALLY enjoyed playing the beta so i got on that there preorder time… once the game launched i think i logged in all of twice in the first week and then never again and I couldnt even tell you why.

Pissed me off quite a bit, has ruined preorders for me.
