Assassin’s Creed 4′s Edward Kenway video reminds you that he definitely is a pirate

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

We’re only a week or two away from the release of Assassin’s Creed: Pirate Sailing Edition, and Ubisoft would like to remind you that the main character of the game is, in fact, a pirate.

The trailer you can see below focuses heavily on the storyline side of the game, which Ubisoft seem quite desperate to promote especially in the face of many previews, including our own, claiming that sailing around on their impressively huge open ocean is a much more interesting option.

What do you think?

Pirates of the Carribean anyone?

Got to say, this looks like it might be the best Assassin’s Creed in some time. Hopefully it’s not just marketing spin making it look that way.

irritus,

Assassin’s Creed 3…. biggest marketing scam ever, lacked all the depth that the “reveals” touted

Edward: So…where’d you get your copy of AC4?
Gamer: Oh I didn’t buy it, I got it off the Pirate Bay…
Edward: Well done me hearty, aaarrrrgh! *drinks grog*
Ubisoft: Damn pirates…
