Witcher 3 gameplay footage leaked from behind-closed-doors demo at Gamescom

Some sneaky types have snuck in a camera to the behind-closed-doors demo of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at this year’s Gamescom.

The footage quality is truly awful, recorded by hand from off-screen. It was on originally on YouTube but has since been pulled down. However, VGLeaks.com have re-hosted it on their own site, so head over there if you’d like to check it out (we can’t embed it).

We also got to see The Witcher 3, but we didn’t sneak in a camera. Here’s our written thoughts, instead.

It’s really a shame, there just arn’t enough games done in the off-screen camera perspective.

 

WOW. I have been waiting and waiting for a game (specifically RPG) that simulates realistic storms. Thunder and lightning is nice in any game, but it always missed the element of wind, making trees sway back and fourth like they would in the real world if the storm was decent.

And now one of my all-time favourite game developers has managed to do just that with one of my favourite games. Un-f**king real.

 

Holy ballsacks that’s horrible quality.

Reminds me of trying to watch the first South Park episode over dial-up back in my school days.
