It has been a while since we last heard about Spintires – the lumber truck simulator designed which successfully passed the Kickstarter process in June. Since then Oovee – the Russian-based developers of the game – have been hard at work however, even releasing a tech demo – a tech demo which we previously missed, but can now insist you play.
As spotted by Rock, Paper, Shotgun, the tech demo allows us to get into some hardcore Russian truckin’ action. It also gives us a chance to see Spintires‘ technology in action, beautiful, muddy action. While I remain steadfast in my belief that the combination of irony and really odd European simulation games will eventually destroy the gaming industry, I won’t mind too much if this is the end result.
You can grab the tech demo for Spintires from the official site and if you’d like to see the game in action before downloading it you can watch the trailer embedded below.
