Rising Storm players: Please help us test our new server hardware!

Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm

By on September 5, 2013 at 6:46 pm

We’ve just added some new hardware to the games.on.net server farm and we need your help to test it!

The very popular Rising Storm #02 server has now been cloned over to this new hardware, so your mission — should you choose to accept it — is to head to this server and play the hell out of it.

You can find it in your server browser, or connect directly to 202.59.96.96. Let us know how it’s going, either here in the comments section or on the forums! Hopefully everything should be smooth as silk and you won’t noticed any change.

If you have any questions, leave them below and we’ll do our best to answer them. Thanks for your help!

Na, just booking in a few events for the weekend ;). It goes a bit bananas when doing more than one at a time.

Yeah guys & gals get in there and smash it too bits, it will be in your best interest for the future. :)

I don’t own Rising Storm but do own Heroes of Stalingrad, this means I can still connect to this server but will just be limited to riflemen right?

If so I might redownload this overnight and give it another run.

mearehear,

The server has maps from both games in its rotation.
You will be limited to rifleman on the Rising Storm maps and have full access to all of the classes on the RO2 maps.

slazza,

Cool that is what I thought. Might let it download tonight then and have a game over the weekend :)

I just bought this, looks cool. I’ll give it a go tomorrow.

Edit* no players, lots of bot. /sigh
(bots as in AI not hacking bots)
