Valve have revealed that the ‘First Blood’ update will be hitting Dota 2 on September 23. The update will bring a local play mode allowing you to engage in LAN games with up to nine of your friends, as well as a new Captain’s Draft mode which forces you to select from a randomised pool of 24 heroes.
First Blood also brings improvements to the Armoury, with the addition of filters that allow you to navigate your armoury by item type, quality, rarity, and more.
Portal fans will also enjoy the new Portal pack which adds GLaDOS to the list of announcers, as well as a themed UI skin and Aperture Science Wardcores.
There’s also a heap of UI changes and balance updates, all of which you can find by hitting up the official site here.
