Get ready to blast all the way to level 72, as the latest Borderlands 2 pack boosts the level cap by 11 and brings with it a swathe of new content for Vault Hunters of all flavours to enjoy. Characters will now gain skill point each level, which means 11 extra skill points to enjoy.

The upgrade pack also adds the Raid on Digistruct Peak challenge mission, new Legendary class mods, and rare Pearlescent-grade weapons, as well as new heads and skins to unlock. You can see a comparison table of what you’ll get with each Upgrade Pack over here at the official blog.

The first of Borderlands 2‘s Headhunter Packs, T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, arrives in October “packing a new uniquely-themed area, story-driven missions, giant boss fight and more unlockable character customizations”. Stay tuned.

Still waiting for my DLC code through the PAX Aus voucher. Has anyone else got theirs yet?

narcarsiss,

That wasn’t what I was referring to. I was referring to the leaflets with a code on them that were given out after the Gearbox panel at PAX Aus. The codes were valid for a free copy of this level cap increase DLC.

deff buy from me, love bl2. best game ever !!

Yeah bought it myself. I’m yet to even get a single character to level 50 yet (very close now) let alone the 61 from the first ultimate upgrade, so it may be a while before I get anywhere near levelling up to take advantage of this new pack. Nonetheless I’m ready! :)
