The Witcher 3′s Killing Monsters CGI trailer is dark, bloody and delightful

The Witcher 3

CDProjekt RED are rapidly catching up to Blizzard when it comes to being masters of the CGI trailer, and this latest slice of the world of The Witcher perfectly nails the grim, mature tone of their RPGs.

You can watch the trailer below or download it in HD from our file library here.

While we still (still!) don’t have a release date for The Witcher 3, we did learn that they were hoping to push it through unchanged for an R18+ rating.

OMG I love CDPR.
That is one awesome trailer.

Great trailer. This one will be on the Steam wishlist for sure.

Awesome.

well… at least she’s got food for a few more days.

yes please, could watch a whole movie of that.

I quite enjoyed that.

Jonathon Frakes. .. Sooo Dreamy.

Hopefully this wont be the actual trailer that ships with the game, pretty meh compared to The Witcher 2′s.

The Witcher 3 really is scratching at my door (like my cat)…

Hmm still waiting for release though :)

Pushing Geralt’s buttons is seriously not a good idea. He flips from “I’m tolerating you” to “my sword is in your brain hole now” without much warning.

Replaying 2 currently, after replaying 1. I’d forgotten how amazing it looks, and I still can’t turn ubersampling on without pretty huge lag. I’m guessing Witcher 3 is going to be new GPU time for me.

Nasty Wet Smear

So… Is there a job where I can kill monsters and make love to grateful women? Like a super vicious cop with magical powers that arouse the ladies via… I dunno… Injecting hormones into them with a laser thin proboscis?

korten,

You mean the one which didn’t ship with #2 but was included in the EE?

Far as I know there aren’t a lot of rigs out there that CAN deal with Ubersampling, you need multiple high end cards for it to be worth it. And it doesn’t even look that massively better. Odd little setting, that one.

No, buy it from GOG and support the developer directly.

I am seriously excited about this game!
