Will it ever end?

Just when you think it’s over, Star Citizen announces another milestone. After passing the $10 million mark back in June, Roberts Space Industries has now raked in another $5 million from impassioned consumers desperate for a hardcore PC space sim.
“The $15 million unlock adds another flyable ship class to the game, the oft-discussed escort carrier,” says the Roberts Space Industries website.
“Every backer will also get a free digital 42-page Upgrade Handbook manual with their game which goes through the process of customizing and overclocking ship systems! We’re excited about putting this one together, since it goes right to the heart of what’s going to make Star Citizen unique.”
At $16 million, Star Citizen will feature a galaxy-wide Arena mode where players can pay to enter a dogfighting arena and prove their skills, as well as a laser pistol for every backer.
In case you missed it, check out this gorgeous in-world advertisement for a new line of starships, rendered entirely in the Star Citizen engine. Amazing.
