It’s that time again; the latest Call of Duty content pack has escaped its timed Xbox 360 exclusivity and wandered onto other platforms. The Master Race can now partake of what, love it or loathe it, is certainly one of the major multiplayer releases of the season – the Vengeance pack for Black Ops 2.

The pack adds in the usual assortment of new maps – Cove, Detour, Rush and Uplink – but also contains a mode called Buried, which has zombies making free of a subterranean mining town in the Old West.

If you have the Black Ops 2 season pass, Vengenace is already yours, but otherwise it will set you back on USD$19.99 on Steam – $5 more than internationally, unfortunately.

This isn’t the end of the DLC for the month; Activision has six new Personalization Packs coming on August $22, for a couple of bucks each.

The maps are pretty good, enjoyed the Blops 1 Summit remake, but overall not worth the money.

As usual money for old rope…
