Beta expected sometime... soon. Probably.

Blizzard have announced that they are rolling towards a Hearthstone beta, with a new blog post from the development team claiming that an important milestone was reached last week as they are now feature-complete for the beta.
According to developer Jason Chayes, work is now complete on a revamped Arena, lots of quest tuning, and UI updates to clarify your next unlocks. The time until the beta launch is apparently not “days” but also not “months”, but hopefully somewhere in between. The North American beta will be first but fully localised betas for Europe, Korea and Taiwan will follow.
Beta testers who help test the in-game store by spending real money during the beta will be granted a Golden version card of Gelbin Mekkatorque, which won’t be available outside of the beta. A regular Gelbin Mekkatorque can be crafted, but the Golden edition will be exclusive to beta testers who spend cash on the store.
Blizzard also reports that the first iPad-PC duel has successfully been tested.
