Ubisoft’s local office have written to us to let us know that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will not be delayed on PC.

The delay was originally reported by game director Ashraf Ismail back in June, but Ubisoft say that they are not aware of any change in schedule.

“The PC version hasn’t been delayed,” said Ubisoft in a statement to us yesterday. “We’re all still working towards an October 31 release date for all formats.”

So there you go. For more on Black Flag, why not read our free-sailing preview?
