Privateer Press, the tabletop gaming company behind Hordes and Warmachine, have partnered with WhiteMoon Dreams to launch a Kickstarter for Warmachine: Tactics.
The turn-based game will focus on squad-level tactics with warbands comprised of on-foot warriors and the iconic Warjack mechs, led by ‘Warcasters’, who are essentially steampunk wizards with swords. Yes, it’s quite cool.
Warmachine: Tactics will ship with one single-player campaign and multiplayer options that support both synchronous and asychronous play. The current goal of $550,000 will only pay for two factions, with the others unlocked as further stretch goals. At the time of writing it has already gathered over $357,000, so there’s little doubt it’ll make it over the finish line.
Take a look at the Kickstarter page and let us know what you think.
