Runic have revealed that Torchlight 2 has sold over two million units, helped along no doubt by the recent enormous discounts in the Steam Summer Sales.

The number is impressively above that of the original Torchlight, which took two years to sell one million units. Torchlight 2 has achieved double that in just ten months.

“I’d just like to say a big thank you to all the players who offered their suggestions on what we could improve, and who stuck with us and supported us during development,” said Runic Games President Travis Baldree in a press release. “It wouldn’t have been possible without you, and we’re humbled and grateful at your response.”

Torchlight II is one of the best (if not THE best) RPG’S I have ever played. Better that D3. Proud that I am one of those 2 million people. :D

Pre-purchased this long before it was released.
No regrets, never looked back.

Took a little too long to get the editor (GUTS) released, but now there really is no reason for anyone NOT to get this game, at full price or discounted. It’s only $20 ffs.
