Steam Sales, day eight: GTA 4, Arkham City, Dark Souls and more

We now enter the second week of the Steam Summer Getaway Sale, as our wallets beginning to run dry and cough up strange, black goo.

Leading the sales today are Grand Theft Auto 4 for $12.49, Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition for $7.49, and Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for $12.48.

You can also pick up Dead Island: Riptide for $27.49, Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $3.74 and Tropico 4 for $7.99.

A variety of smaller titles are also on sale, with Evoland for $4.99, Ace of Spades for $2.49 and Mount & Blade: Warband for $4.99.

The current flash sales, which are good for the next seven hours, include Fez for $4.99, Saints Row The Third for $4.99, and Anno 2070 for $17.46.

Dat Aussie price jacking.

Worth mentioning that the “Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition” is actually cheaper at $7.50 and comes with the episodes from Liberty city DLC to boot.

Nice that Amazon are continuing the tradition of Price matching steam’s (US store) prices. Dark souls for $7.50 over there, cheaper even still with the one time use ‘Gooncave’ coupon to the tune of almost half the rip-off price steam is asking :P

Oh and the fourth Flash deal is RAGE

 

Thanks for the reminder to check Amazon before buying Dark Souls, I had been sitting on the fence regarding that title until now. Some of Steam’s regular prices are nearly double, so the same % discount doesn’t mean as much. Glad I checked before buying Tomb Raider and Max Payne 3 previously.
