Grinding Gear Games announced yesterday that Path of Exile will now feature streaming functionality directly from inside the game client, including full support for webcam footage and integrated Twitch channel chat.

This Twitch integration will also enable players to see who on the Path of Exile leaderboards is racing at any time and jump into their stream.

“When Path of Exile and Twitch accounts are linked,” claims the press release, “users viewing the Path of Exile website will be able to see little Twitch icons next to player names wherever they appear on the site while streaming and can click on the logo to visit the user’s stream.”

Users will also reportedly be able to see the leading streamer for any given Path of Exile race event on the race page on the Path of Exile site.

If you haven’t jumped into Path of Exile yet, it’s free — download the client from our file library here.
