Folk Tale currently in early alpha, sandbox vision outlined

Have you tried Folk Tale? It’s available via Steam Early Access, but the version available is really bare bones – just a tutorial for the campaign, and very little else to do. The good news is developer Games Foundry has revealed that this version is best considered an early alpha, and that the full release is a good year off at least. In the 20 minute+ video below, project lead Simon Dean talks through an exhaustive list of what’s coming to Folk Tale’s sandbox mode. I encourage you to check it out in full, but if you want an executive summary “holy balls, this sounds sweet” is pretty apt.

Watching the video makes me want to play the game, but then I remembered its not in Sandbox mode yet.
