games.on.net-hosted servers still up in the air.

One of the things that Microsoft haven’t backpedaled on since their E3 2013 conference is their commitment to the creation of massive cloud server farms, used to sync your saved games, provide spare computational power on certain rendering effects, and all sorts of other things.
Now, Respawn have announced that upcoming multiplayer shooter Titanfall will be using the power of that cloud for their dedicated servers on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Which is good news, because, hey — dedicated servers.
On the other hand, it does mean that the chances of us here at games.on.net running a Titanfall server for you just went down very drastically. We’ll be chasing up with Microsoft and Respawn to see if we can get some more details about where exactly these dedicated servers will be located.
