SimCity Airship DLC available now

Many of us are still making up our minds on SimCity, I think, but if you fall into the somewhat sparsely-populated “delighted” camp I’m pleased to report Maxis has been thinking of you and whether you might like to have pretty things floating about in the sky above your metropolises; I suspect you do.

The Airship DLC pack adds event blimps; hot air balloon parks; and a new tourist destination. Adding a hangar to your city also gives tourists another way into your town which doesn’t involve clogging your highway connections to heck and back, and communter airships, which I think we can all agree needs to happen immediately (have you seen the M2 this weekend?) will help solve your rush hour traffic issues, too.

Origin’s throwing a SimCity sale at the moment, as it happens, with savings on the core game and selected DLC packs; the new bundle is not part of the deal, unfortunately, and will set you back $9.95.

Again… we barely have room for the stuff that came WITH the game, let alone all this DLC.

Why don’t Maxis understand that we need bigger lots?
Bastards!

kinistoniscool

stopped playing this, so bored of it

Hmm to get this joke of a DLC or should I get the Endless Space expansion for 4c more…

Oh yeah I never got Sim City so that makes it easy :D

+1! not buying until they increase the lot sizes

yawwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Even more icing, still no cake though.

Nasty Wet Smear

I checked up on it, and the airship does not air drop a button that allows offline play. :(

DLC seems pointless, but I suppose they did market it as cutesy, like the Sims.

Give new utilities/specialisations/transport options first, and get around to an expansion next year to reflect average computer update so you can expand the lot size a tiny bit.

Not that that matters for me anyway. I played it for the first 2 weeks D: Too busy playing Chivalry, Borderlands 2, and Company of heroes 2

rapid101,

What CoH2 like? Worth getting?

Farken…. We’re all sick of the game. Give us something to unbreak my $90 purchase you bastards! *makes ‘bigger lots’ placard for a protest*

kinkykel,

GON did a pretty good review the other day. It’s not bad, but its not worth the steam price.
