Baldur’s Gate Reloaded is a Neverwinter Nights 2 mod that recreates the entire original game in 3D

Baldurs Gate Reloaded

By on June 6, 2013 at 11:00 am

Over the course of seven years, a game designer by the name of Drew Rechner and a team of dedicated modders have been slowly working on porting the entirety of the original Baldur’s Gate into the Neverwinter Nights 2 engine. The mod is now complete and has been released, and includes both the original game and the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.

If you’d like to play it, you’ll need a copy of Neverwinter Nights 2 and all its expansions, which you can purchase as a complete edition from places like GOG.com for $20 (a worthwhile investment on its own).

You can download the mod from our file library and we suggest you do as it’s enormous — here are links to part one, part two, part three, part four, part five and part six. If you’d prefer the official download, that can be found here.

Holy crap!
According to the posts from that link it should work with the Steam version too for those of us who picked it up during the brief period it was available for sale.
Will have to certainly give this a go tonight.

I love the modding community so much.

I’m impressed, still have NWN2 and it’s expansions around here as well so i’m going to give this a shot, if node host it :P

hmmm … do want

Easily one of the most impressive mods i’ve seen. Definitely downloading this one since i’ve got back into BG because of the “Enhanced Edition”

Must find NWN2 discs and install immediately!

Any particular reason the file-names start “Do_Not_Download” *edit* noted the text about it on nexusmods.com

Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Download. Mod.

>_<
