It’s so hard to believe that EVE Online is ten years old. The sandbox MMO has come so far, and grown into one of the most interesting phenomenon in modern gaming – although it’s not for everyone. The trailer below takes a look back at where it all began which is a nice introduction for those of us a bit baffled by the whole thing and a great nostalgia trip for insiders.

I wish they made more movies like this >.<

Haha GammaD, classic vid.

Yes this game requires imagination to enjoy… like a book.

gremalisk,

Except books invoke imagery in your own head. Your imagination creates the scene and voices etc.

In EVE all the imagery and sound is there… not much is left to your imagination. Its kind of hard to imagine an epic story when your mining a few rocks for hours too.

wish i got into eve :(
