Company of Heroes 2 on Facebook

By on April 16, 2013 at 1:19 pm

SEGA and/or Relic must be keen to stress-test their Company of Heroes 2 matchmaking service, because they’ve just thrown open the Company of Heroes 2 beta doors to the entire internet through Facebook.

Hit up the official Facebook page and then hit the enormous ‘Like’ button on your screen, and you’ll get a Steam code which you can redeem to join the current phase of the already-underway public beta.

What are you waiting for? Make a fake Facebook account (or use your real one) and get cracking! Company of Heroes 2 launches here on June 26.

Thank you.

or just pre-order it ;)

Awesome thanks for the heads up, although this will probably cause me to pre-order…

horndoggy,

Just as planned. I’ll be hitting this up over the weekend and inevitably preorder shortly afterwards.

I finally got the game working at 1:00 AM last night
I had to swap steam to load with the -tcp command load to get it to “finish installation” since iiNet has a broken upsteam system currently.

The GUI looks horrid , peer2peer system seems crap, still has the issue were if your graphics are high it causes network lag, they removed LAN play , menu sucks .

Then going into the game they have removed or nerfed and changed things for the worst I found.

Maybe its my playstyle with COH1 but I found engineers were great at building Gun turret bays all over the place were you wanted it , laying down barb wire, laying down tank traps and laying down sand bags . Now its been changed for the worse I found.

Engineers can only build barb wire in a 4 x pattern . Gunners build one huge clunky sandbag and I haven’t even found who can build tank traps yet .

I am glad they finally offered a taste of the beta without having to pay for the game first. Saved me having to buy it. I cant see myself recommending the game or buying it upon retail or pre order in its current state.

Anyone else noticed that if you turn off steam community on the game , you cant invite anyone to a public game
