A studio best known for its visual contributions to other developers’ titles is hoping to launch an original game of its own. Atomhawk Design is working on a point and click adventure known as The Realm and the UK company has taken to Kickstarter in the hope of raising £195k for the project’s development.
Should the funding drive be successful, Atomhawk will team with Lantern Interactive to craft a post apocalyptic tale in which the world has been overrun by nature. Players will take control of a small child named Sarina and her imposing golem companion as they set out to explore a magical world and (more importantly) find a cure for the girl’s ailing mother.
In recent years, Atomhawk has chipped in on a range of high profile releases, including Techland’s Dead Island and Ninja Theory’s DMC: Devil May Cry.
