Deadpool gets a release date, announces his arrival on PC

It’s been a little while since we’ve heard anything about the upcoming Deadpool game. A good nine months, in fact, since the SDCC trailer come out. Now, sort of suddenly, I can tell you exactly when you’ll be able to play it.

It has been announced today that Australians will be able to pick up the title as of the 26th of June, which is a day after the North American release (boo) but several days before the European release on the 28th (yay?).

More important, though, is the announcement that the Merc with Several Gibbering Mouths will be getting a PC release as well.

So what do you think, faithful readers? Will you be picking this one up? Daniel Way is on board for writing, and I’m reading a lot of the older-school ‘Pool fans think he’s a little too “LOL Random”. But will that affect your video gaming or are you happy to just have a little wacky fun with the wise-crackin’, fourth-wall breakin’ sass pot? Let us know in the comments.

Two days is not ‘several’. Last I checked that’s what ‘a couple’ meant.

Cool, I was wondering what happened to this. I remember seeing the trailer ages ago.

Already knew about the PC confirmation from the leaked bunch of Steam achievement db entries a few months ago.
Nice to get a release date though.
Will definitely be picking this one up.

What’s a deadpool ?

Just using google, y’know…

I found my answer he’s the guy in Xman origins: Wolverine (not big on comic books tbh), just wondered where i had heard the name before, ty tho

Xmen origins completely destroyed deadpool. I don’t event know what they were thinking when they turned ‘the merc with the mouth’ into a mute… I heard even the guy playing him was upset by that.

Yeah it was kind of silly. Why would you remove his mouth? Although Wolverine’s comment was kind of funny: “Looks like Stryker finally found a way to shut you up”
