Bethesda teases new project with bizarre montage, says it’s not Fallout

Bethesda Wut

By on April 17, 2013 at 9:41 am

Fresh from announcing they’re done and dusted with Skyrim, Bethesda have posted a short teaser video on the internet hinting at their next project. You can watch it here.

Looks a bit Fallout-ey, doesn’t it? Well it’s not, according to Bethesda bigwig Paul Hines. “Guess again,” was his cryptic response.

Some of the elements spotted in the short video include ‘The Moonbeam Trio’, Bach’s Air on a G String, barbed wire, and of course some sort of blurry record label that looks really, really, Fallout-ey.

“it’s not Fallout”

AND it’s not TES VI.

German music and barbed wire… makes me think WW2 for some reason

Rage 2.. would rather it be fallout or a new IP.

Good, I’m all for a fresh IP.
They already ruined Fallout enough.

I saw a grid with some writing in it with that little…. whatever it was!

Maybe it’s a WW2 Action Sudoku game!

Barbed wire and a crackling record…hmmm…Super First-Person Modern War Game VI – The Sequelling?

After Zenimax trademarked and stated that they are releasing Wolfenstien in 2013 I thought it would be pretty obvious.

Soooo it’ll be the new Hello Kitty game? I’ve been waiting for AGES for that!

So wait, he says they’ve licensed Wolfenstein. You suddenly assume it’s a Hello Kitty game. What are you, crazy?

Obviously he meant the new Doraemon game. Come on, get with the program man!

I guess it’s my need for the new HK game that instantly made me thought of it. You’re probably right vcatkiller, the new Doraemon game sounds more than likely.

Whatever it is, it seems to involve a lot of spinning. So my guess is for Tassie Devil Online.

I’d play the shit out of that…

kinkykel,

Too right! Although it might be nasty playing first person with the occulus rift.

Zombie/Survivalist rpg is going to be hard for them to resist.

Zombies are over… please let them be over. So boring. Plus half of Fallout is effectively zombie-based.

caitsith01,

But you’ve to to admit that killing ghouls with your hunting rifle or the beloved Lincoln’s Repeater in V.A.T.S is pretty satisfying
