Is PC gaming dying? Not according to the developers of Total War: Rome 2, such as Creative Assembly’s Dom Starr. In fact, he says that the PS4′s recent announcement shows things are better than ever.
“I don’t think PC is in any danger of dying,” he said to Eurogamer.
“I think that’s ridiculous. If anything, the fact that the new console, PS4, seems to pretty much be an adapted PC just goes to show that the platform is strong and [we're] likely to not see the death of it any time soon.”
However, Starr is open to the idea that a Total War game may one day make a console appearance. “Personally I think it would be nice to have Total War on console,” he said, “get the experience to people who aren’t necessarily PC gamers.”
“You’d have to adapt a fair bit if for a joypad controller. Something like the Wii U might be easier to do some – drawing battle lines, moving the units around in a bit more of an organic way.”

tbh I thought the exact same thing when I saw the specs.
*Does PC Gaming cheer with pompoms*
I think it’s a silly comment as the hardware was never the reason for which people were claiming the PC was dieing.
“Personally I think it would be nice to have Total War on console,”
And then Stormrise happened..
*dying.
Only idiots ever claimed the PC was ‘dying’; every platform has its strengths and weaknesses, and fueling this debate with articles like this is just pointless. Let people play what they want to play and we can stop talking about it.
I know the gaming community is known for jimmies being rustled but this sort of stuff is right up there with the Anita Sarkeesian stuff
