Square Enix trademarks something called Lara Croft: Reflections

And that’s about all we know! The trademark filing, which you can see here, was discovered by Silicon Era and lists the usual broad range of trademark-application subjects, including everything electronic under the sun and some other things besides.

Crystal Dynamics recently confirmed that they have no plans for single-player Tomb Raider DLC at the moment, and ‘Lara Croft: Reflections’ sure doesn’t sound like any multiplayer game I’d want to play (and why would they name it ‘Lara Croft’ instead of ‘Tomb Raider’?). So what is it then? Mysteries abound!

What you mean a game that’s got Lara in it and isn’t called Tomb Raider? You mean like Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light? Nope never heard of such nonsense.

I was more suggesting that it wasn’t DLC for Tomb Raider!

Guardian of Light was amazing.

 

I’d be happy if it was a Guardian of Light sequel, really enjoyed that.

Not to say I’d be unhappy if it was something single player-y for the new Tomb Raider either.

I actually have Guardian of Light on my Steam account that I bought ages ago and never played. One of these days I’ll get around to it… (too many unplayed games, I kid you not)

Totally down for another isometric TR game. GoL was great fun.

Cool, may have to do that on the weekend. :)

 

Thought there was a large amount of talk and speculation about a reboot of the movie franchise after the success of the game. Could be interesting.

Do it with a friend! It’s great co-op fun.

 

Probably be one of those animated movies they seem to love for triple a games, like Mass Effect, Dead Space, Dragon Age and so on.
