If you’ve been on The Internet at all in the last 48 hours you’ll be aware that many US residents have been struggling with overloaded EA servers and enormous wait times when trying to download and/or play SimCity. Now, with the game launching today across Australia and Europe, EA are hoping for a smoother experience.
“We’re making changes to prevent further issues,” announced EA on Twitter, “and are confident that Origin will be stable for international launches later this week.”
Many sites have roundly criticised SimCity for its connectivity issues, with sites like Polygon updating their reviews to reflect a poorly-organised launch.
