Salem: The Crafting MMO now in open beta

You know how sometimes after a new MMO releases someone will manage to hit the level cap in record time purely through crafting? It turns out there’s a real market for this kind of thing: people want to hang out in virtual worlds and pretend to be artisans and gatherers instead of warriors or thieves or mages or whatever. Given that crafting and trading usually involves collaboration with other human beings it’s not my cup of misanthropic tea, but I’m glad it exists and that you can try it thanks to Salem moving into open beta. Awesome, been waiting for this game for a while.
Oh Wow, just what every crafting centric and building MMO where everyone is expected to spend hundreds of hours leveling up a crafter:-
Permadeath and pvp everywhere
(except the main town where you can only trade and cant build anything, oh joy)
These idiots should just donate the development costs to charity, they’ll be just as broke at the end, and atleast someone will benifit

Played the beta a few months back… was hard to control and was sooooo laggy.
