The promised fixes for NVIDIA owners trying (and failing) to play Tomb Raider have now begun to roll out, with the company working hand-in-hand with Crystal Dynamics to solve the issues preventing people from playing what is a thoroughly impressive game.
Users of Windows 8, 7 and Vista 64-bit versions should download theirs from here, and users of 32-bit versions should get theirs from here instead. NVIDIA are also offering a Windows XP 32-bit download here.
Additional downloads and more info can be found at this NVIDIA thread.

Wow, that’s great news! Seeing as I finished the game YESTERDAY! *sigh*
Oh well at least the fixes are flowing, and I think the game only crashed twice on me anyhow during my entire time playing the game anyhow, so not complaining.
According to a thread on OCN these drivers do a fantastic job across the board, not just TR (although TR gets the most significant bumps in perf.).
Really solid driver from NV from what I have seen of it. Will need to download when the WHQL version is released within the next few weeks
Installed these drivers yesterday morning, played 7 hours straight, no more crashing with DX11 Tessellation and finished the game without interruption.
I’ve still had it crash twice in an hour. I’m on a fairly old GTX 260.
I tested it a little earlier today, together with the patch it has made a marked difference – I was averaging around 35fps before, I’m now averaging around 53fps. I tried the TressFX stuff again too and…actually it looked worse so I switched it back off again. I guess you can’t have everything.
