Mortal Kombat GOTY Edition for PC spotted on Amazon

Mortal Kombat

Amazon’s UK arm has popped up over the weekend with a listing for a PC version of Mortal Kombat: Game of the Year Edition. As with all delightfully vague Amazon listings, we have no way of knowing whether this means we’re in for a surprise announcement, or Amazon are just confused.

Whatever the case may be, the item is listed as releasing on June 14 this year — so perhaps we should be expecting an announcement closer to E3.

Stay tuned for more soon (hopefully)!

Yes please! I would gladly throw my money at that in a heartbeat.

That said, this is Amazon saying this, so I’m not holding my breath. Amazon have said some pretty wacky things in the past.

I thought Ed Boon confirmed that we wouldn’t get this. Now I’m on the edge of my seat with dollars in hand.

What’s the difference between this version and the Komplete Edition?

I bought Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition from Playhard Entertainment in Mooloolaba, brand new for $50. Don’t even need Xbox Live Gold to play online :D

Shut up and take my money!

Probably not much. As i understand it, the Komplete Edition has all the DLC they released for this game anyway.

Probably won’t bother with the PC version since I have it on PS3 already. Great fighting game.

Please please please please please please please please please please please.

Don’t get your hopes up folks. (he says crossing all his fingers and toes so tight he loses feeling in them)

It uses the Unreal engine so there’s no reason why it wouldn’t run on the PC…or easily port to the PC!
