Dishonored teasing DLC reveal where you assassinate the Empress

Dishonored DLC

By on March 13, 2013 at 11:50 am

The official Dishonored Twitter account has released a new screenshot into the wild, teasing further Dishonored story-based DLC and promising news tomorrow.

In the screenshot, we see the player — presumably Daud, as he is basically anti-Corvo and would be perfectly easy to use as a protagonist — on a rooftop next to another assassin, looking at the Empress’ garden in the distance.

Chances are very good this is the ‘Other Side of the Coin’ DLC whose existence was leaked via PS3 trophies. Back in October Bethesda explained that there would be story-driven DLC featuring Daud releasing in March or April, and now’s the time.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more.

Hooray for non MP centric non costume pack DLC!

I’m not complaining per se about the short campaign, but to be honest – I just didn’t play it long enough to get any real connection with the character, and so don’t feel compelled to buy the DLC.

If it was back during Mass Effect 2, I’d be all over it.

Anyone feel the same?

thefinn,

Could not feel any more opposite.
I loved the main story.
Daud wasn’t very fleshed out [neither was Corvo] but the game was right up my alley so any chance to play a new campaign [even if quite short] is really welcomed.

I’ll pass. Dishonoured easily made my top 10 worst AAA titles list.

Meh story, broken gameplay (so broken that you have to avoid using powers, unless you are forced to, for it to be remotely close to challenging), too many bugs. Arkane certainly took the Bethesda approach to game development but forgot the only benefit of a Bethesda game; modding ability.

Basically, it was aimed at the Bethesda fanbois, the Jersey Shore/Cult of Mac equivalent of gamers.

AWESOME!

Can’t wait for this, loved Dishonored, gotten so much value from Dishonored, and I love the world and characters they created.

:D
