Call of Juarez: Gunslinger returns to its Western roots in reveal trailer

Quite frankly there aren’t enough Western-themed games these days anymore, and when Ubisoft announced that Call of Juarez would be returning to where it all began rather than some weird modern-day reboot cheered many series fans immensely. Now we’ve been given our first look at the title and, you know, it looks pretty good.

Major Western figures such as Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett, and Jesse James will be there, along with a whole pile of six-guns and dynamite. Sounds like a good night in.

For all the critisism The Cartel got it was a pretty amazing 3 player co-op experience that pitted you in ‘friendly’ challenges against one another at times. Me and my two buddies had a ball with it.

I thought I had heard rumours that this one was going to be handheld/console exlusive or something..? Guess not and I can put it back on my radar then :D

And yeah, obviously western is much better then the carbon copy modern day setting that has already been done a thousand times in every other game.

I loved the first game. Started the second but part way I just lost interest. The story or gameplay just wasn’t as interesting as the original and I lost interest in continuing. Should try and pick it back up again some time.
