Black Ops 2′s cosmetic microtransactions coming to PC in April

The Activision-blog One of Swords has revealed that the personalisation packs, currently only available to Xbox 360 owners, will be coming to PC and PS3 on April 12.

Soon you, too, will be able to cover your gun in decals such as graffiti, kawaii, dia de meurtos, and of course — because this is the internet, after all — bacon.

Also revealed is the fact that the Nuketown 2025 map will be a free download for everyone — so if you missed out on grabbing it free with the launch of the game, it’ll be yours next month. It’s set to be added into the standard multiplayer map rotation “eventually”.

Hmph. I remember using skins and whole model replacements for weapons in Counter Strike: Source. For free. A lot of them were really good too.
