We’re rolling out Crysis 3 multiplayer servers right now, ready for launch

Crysis 3

By on February 19, 2013 at 12:33 pm

When February 21 rolls around and your download of Crysis 3 finishes, look no further than games.on.net for your multiplayer fix.

We’re rolling out no less than 25 servers across our Australia-wide network, so if you enjoyed your time with the multiplayer alpha and you can’t wait to get your hands on it again, stress less.

Just hit the server browser and look for games.on.net, and you’re set! You might also want to prep up for the game by grabbing the latest Crysis 3 beta drivers. AMD users can find theirs here, while NVIDIA users should go here (32-bit also available).

See you in game!

Nvidia actually dropped new drivers for Crysis 3 overnight (314.07).

Good Stuff to see! (servers and new drivers!) 8D

Woot woo! Can’t wait (though I have to for another few days until my key appears).

Happy hunting guys!

Not a big fan of installing beta graphics drivers for a game in full retail release…
Shiz better work fine without them or i will be a sad panda!

psychofruiterer,

There’s full WHQL drivers available, just released last night – follow PalZer0′s link above rather than the article’s link, which points to the older beta driver.

EDIT: I just assumed you were using Nvidia and didn’t catch PalZe0′s comment, oops silly me sorry if you’re on AMD!

already preloaded :) took 40mins :P http://www.speedtest.net/result/2328323307.png

sirgriggles,

What is this magic?!?! I felt very special getting 16Mbps until I saw your soul crushing speedtest! :O Now I feel like I’m on dialup again!

its ultra fast, but not cheap unfortunately! telstra ultimate cable… its about $80-100, maybe more(just for the cable), and the wife has a foxtel iq2 hd all channels setup in the living room, and i got one in the study. plus telstra phones (lines). just paid monthly bill of $272.00. so pretty steep, but compared to what i was getting with adsl2+, i was averaging speeds of 200 kb/s :( the area of sydney i live in is some of the oldest suburbanised areas of australia (leichhardt) and the phone cabling just isnt good… plus my nearest exchange is about 3.5 km… just pain and misery for adsl2+. so i bit the bullet and got cable… cant say i regret the decision. i may have unlimited downloads with tpg, but the speeds were atrocious.

One of the best parts of cable is i get about 200ping to usa servers (for example i just played crysis 2 online) and whilst most people get about that (200 ping) i had never played on a usa server without noticeable lag before, this time there was none!

EDIT: the nbn isnt due to roll out to my suburb for at least 2-3 yrs either, making my choice less difficult. if it was a 1 yr wait i would of stayed with tpg

Thanks dude, Cas has put those up on the mirror now. Links in the post updated to reflect this.

sirgriggles,

Wow, I didn’t know cable was so fast, I thought you must have already been on the NBN. I’m paying over $100 p/m for a 20Mbps plan with internode. And yes, US servers are laggy for me.

According to Origin, Crysis 3 unlocks 9:01pm tomorrow night Perth time. Perfect for squeezing a few hours in before bedtime :)

knowing that there is a good chance the retail stores will break the street date late tomorrow arvo.

Awesome new WHQL drivers, Beta drivers do not work for me. They just send both monitors into sleep mode and i have to safe mode boot then reinstall old drivers to fix it. (happens with all beta drivers for the last year, 2×670′s)

Also Cool crysis3 servers up already. :D
(now i just need to decided if i want to buy it or not :P)

Edit* Bought the game, $44@ cjs-cdkeys. keys get shipped tomorrow morning.

Watched Total Biscuit’s multiplayer beta gameplay (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD-uKpkc0LM), doesn’t appear to be different from Crysis 2 MP in that it’s basically Call of Duty with Nanosuits.

launch origin with a vpn (e.g flyvpn trial) and you can play now… btw the game is awesome :)

snazz,

It’s bloody way different than c2′s MP… Good to see you put some thought into your opinions of games :)
And again with the COD clones? haha you guys are hopeless. go play your COD clones with swords

He’s gotta point though, it’s small scale death match style gaming with a very limited number of players. It’s definitely a massive downgrade from the scope of Crysis 1.

AMD Have just released 13.2 Beta 6 drivers over at
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst132BetaDriver.aspx

Since Beta 3:
Beta 4:
Improves performance in the Crysis 3 Multi-Player Beta by up to 50% when 4x and 8x MSAA are enabled

Beta 5:
Crysis 3 multi-player Beta: Improves CrossFire scaling by up to 40%

Beta 6:
Resolves minor anti-aliasing corruption seen in Crysis 3

Following @CatalystCreator on twitter should help in keeping things up to date so that the mirror is actually usefull for drivers although he hasn’t mentioned beta 6 yet.

In the way that MW3 MP is different to MW2 MP.

gamer87Good to see you put some thought into your opinions of games :)

There’s nothing else to say really about the MP that Total Biscuit hasn’t already, although I don’t have to be diplomatic about it and say it’s okay anyway nor am I interested in the singleplayer.

Wut?
