Three months after the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Activision and Treyarch have finally revealed when PC users can expect to see the first wave of paid DLC. Dubbed Revolution, the new content will be available to purchase from Thursday 28th February, about a month after it landed on Xbox 360.
The download will feature four fresh multiplayer maps and (in a first for the series) a new weapon. According to the developer, the Peacekeeper blends “the mobility of a SMG with the range of an Assault Rifle”. The pack will also include a new zombie map, as well as a mode in which the player takes on the role of a shambling ghoul.
Revolution is the first of four planned DLC instalments.

revolutionary, I love it…. like Steam didn’t do this already with L4D’s.. for how many years now?
Great, ANOTHER SMG, that seems twice as good as the others, yay for Peacekeeper forever.
such revolution … I’m stunned by it. .. really.
Wow I don’t even own the game and I think I’ll buy the dlc anyways so I can be even more stunned by the revolution.
great…. an smg that is dual wield and reaches out as far as an assault rifle…
seems like just what we needed!
psychofruiterer,
It’s not dual wield I don’t know where you got that information from haha. The picture is showing the KAP-40s.
An SMG with the range of an assault rifle, isn’t that all of them?
lol pretty much, the maps are so small it doesn’t make too much of a difference if its a rifle or SMG
Revolution? Surely that’s a very intentional troll…. out of all the words they could have used. Surely.
DLC pack 2: Innovation? Pack 3: Value for money?
I was sucked into paying for maps with BF3. Never again.
