The first closed beta event for Neverwinter has begun, and to celebrate Cryptic have announced a new character class — the Devoted Cleric. As you would expect, the cleric is mostly a support class with healing powers and AoE buffs and debuffs, but they are definitely capable of dealing some holy damage as well. Check out the trailer below, showcasing the clerics and their many talents, and tell us what you think.

I spent the majority of my time here at node buried in the NWN forums. Its good to see NWN coming back, but I doubt I will play it unless there is a FTP part or a good single player.

polarice,

It is free.

The game is F2P and free to download, it’s an MMO, there is no SP aspect, that’s not to say though that you CAN’T play it solo, which you very much can.

Also, everyone that is even slightly interested in this, NEEDS to read this page http://nw.perfectworld.com/about/foundry It’s similar to the NWN Toolset where you make your own campaigns, everyone in the world can then play it, rate it, review it and even tip you with Astral Diamonds if it’s that good.

Can’t wait until they release the Fighter/Mage/Thief class!!

Or no multi-classing more likely.
