Well, this is probably the best thing I’ve seen all day. And I’m not just saying that ’cause I just woke up!
You may remember that L.A. Noire used a state-of-the-art facial animation technology that used the actor’s real-time facial movements for the movements of their character. As such, the team captured many a blooper just like they would when recording any movie or TV show.
I really don’t want to ruin it for you by saying more. The result is a sight to behold. Animated characters screwing up their lines, lamenting their lack of concentration. It’s beautiful. It’s bizarre. It’s below. Watch it.

Funny stuff, the tongue dude make me laugh
Haha, weird, but funny.
That was bizarre but really fun to watch.
I loved LA Noire, seeing all these actors in other shows showing up in the game and looking similair.
Richard D. Anderson as the pedophile and Julie McNiven as a receptionist both from Stargate was great and I recognise quite a few others.
Funny as. Great behind the scenes look at the power of the facial tech too!
One of those looks like one of the guys from mad men. :O
The sneeze in the car cracked me up.
jez,
It’s because it is :P
6:23pm? Fo real?
That was great. Love how they still animated the outtakes, worked really well. :D
ooshp,
Nope! That was a joke!
Though, to be fair, it posts on Sydney time and I am in Perth where we don’t have daylight savings, so technically it was 3:23pm!
