Become everyone’s favourite drow with Neverwinter’s Hero of the North Founder’s Pack

Drizzt

If I’m going to play Neverwinter, I say to myself, I might as well play as Drizzt, right? With the ‘Hero of the North’ Founder’s Pack, you essentially can be! Between being a “drow renegade” and having your own unique panther companion, I hope to see lots of characters named ‘Not_Drizzt’ and other variations in the opening days.

There’s lots more in the Founder’s Pack though, including a new costume, treasure, a respec token and some other bits and pieces. Most importantly however, it will buy you VIP access to the game, jumping you to the front of queues as well as access to the three beta weekends and five-day early access to the game when it’s launched. And an armoured spider mount. FYI.

That’s all very exciting! What do you have to do to get your hands on all this cool stuff? The answer is very simple: go here and pay $200. Yes, it seems a bit steep doesn’t it. Bear in mind though that it’s got over $500 worth of stuff in it. So perhaps not for the casual player, but if it’s your thing, it seems definitely worth the price of admission. For more – and better animated – details, check out the trailer below.

Are there Australian servers?

No info on that yet, sorry!

Ugggghhhhh…. Sign up now for your chance to play the poster Mary Sue!

I loved NWN original more than any other game I’ve ever played or could ever play. But this hurts. Acid in my soul hurts.

O_O that spider looks incredible !
man if only i could still afford spending like an idiot

$200? brb smoking crack then developing a game.

That’s a pimp looking mount, sort of ruins it that it’s just paid for with money though lmao.

I’m really hoping that you can play as Drizz’t without spending $200 fracking dollars. That is just insane. Presumably there will be sanely priced options. Or sane at least as far as DLC goes these days.

$200? No.

It’s Cryptic …. meh ….

This pay for early access shit is getting worse than episodic DLC.

every mmo … well almost every mmo has a cool looking “collectors edition mount”

There’s a cheaper version for $59.99 that includes a heap of poop and a beta key

Another good group RPG ruined by making it single character… why do this?

You have seriously got to be retarded to throw down $200 bucks for that shit. Please don’t do it.

Published by Perfect World Entertainment. Masters of pay to win and overpriced junk.
