3DMark 2013 is here! Download it right now from our file library

Throw away your old benchmarking tools and get ready to run the latest version, because FutureMark have released 3DMark 2013. Since it weighs in at over 900MB, we’ve uploaded it to our file mirror so that you can grab it quota-free.

This time around, 3DMark contains three demos: ‘Fire Strike’, designed for high end PCs with DirectX 11-based graphics, ‘Cloud Gate’ for mainstream DirectX 10 stuff, and Ice Storm for low-level, DirectX 9-based PCs. Take a look below, or check out the official site for more.

Once you’ve run it, join us in the forum and post your results!

If you have trouble getting it to run on 64bit windows like I did, do a custom install and include the 32bit binaries, should work then.

Really wish my PC wasn’t so dated otherwise I’d download it just for the awesome looking spacey parts!

Although, once star citizen hits new PC and benchmarking incoming!

Word of advice. After the benchmark has finished, you’ll see a webpage with your results. Copy and paste the address bar URL of that page into the forum thread linked instead of posting a screenshot.

For reference, here’s my results link. Yours will look similar but have a different number on the end.

Or just post a screenshot, honestly it’s fine either way.

makena,

A link is easier for record keeping. Also, in the screenshots already posted, note the bit that says the result will be hidden from searches.

What’s harder about a screenshot for record keeping? What does it being hidden from searches have to do with anything?

makena,

With links, I can collate the results and put them into a leaderboard format. Also, screenshots can be edited. Automatically generated URLs can’t.

Remember the 3DMark 11 comp that GON ran a while back?

PalZer0,

Because people are going to edit them for a thread like that?

lol.
