Three Dog voice actor teases further Fallout releases

Three Dog

It’s not quite the same as a Fallout 4 announcement, but Erik Todd Dellums, the voice actor behind Fallout 3‘s Three Dog has teased on his Twitter feed that there may be more releases in the works.

“To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming,” he wrote. “Fingers crossed!”

“How was that for a tease!” he later added. “I was given permission to release that tease, so fingers crossed.”

Fire up your Specula-Tron, folks — Fallout 3 movie, or new Fallout game? Or really, really late Fallout 3 DLC?

please be Fallout 4.

please use Bethesda’s new engine.

“Fallout 3 movie”
This hurts my head badly… this is like starting Mad Max with Thunderdome… you just don’t do that when there’s such a huge amazing backstory that no one born outside of 1990 knows about.

I cringe to think about what the new mad max will be like.

On the topic of the announcement, its going to be Fallout 4, else why’d he have to ask “Permission”, its a typical thing Bethesda does where they go into lockdown, so he probably had to get a legal team to go through the twitter post with him before he hit send lol.

Man I would love to have a Fallout game with the Skyrim leveling system, that would make me so, so, so, pants happy.

It’s been my dream since playing skyrim, that engine would rock with a new fallout game!

eh, I don’t know.

I think the whole SPECIAL and perk system is actually quite good. would be interesting to add something on top of it, but I wouldn’t want to see it turn into a Skyrim-esque leveling system. I actually prefer FO3/NV leveling over Skyrim, as the Skyrim system left it too open to abuse through min/maxing. I know it’s a choice, but it’s hard not to go with the most powerful.

apparently Bethesda are creating one more game with Skyrim’s Creation engine, and most people think it will be FO4. would have been nice to see it use the next step, but seeing as the new engines have been on Morrowind, Oblivion and now Skyrim, I doubt we would see it appear in FO4 unless it was delayed for a few years.

it will definitely be pretty, whatever it is. you can only marvel at leaves and water so much. give me some attractive modern-but-sort-of-not ruins any day.

skitzor,

I found that the point system in New Vegas and 3 was easy to abuse anyway, since you could get 10 intelligence through the bobble heads and neural implant. I don’t mind the SPECIAL system, but I would have liked something a little more fluid, which is why I enjoyed the Skyrim system.

I’m sure whatever they do will be pretty good though.
