New Bioshock trailer introduces our setting in “Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?”

A new documentary has been made about Columbia and its secession from the Union, called “Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?” Okay, well, it’s not really a documentary, it’s actually just a trailer for Bioshock: Infinite, but it’s very well done and presents itself as one of those retro-as-hell documentaries you probably watched in science class.

“Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?” gives us some insight into what our setting for Bioshock: Infinite is going to be like, as well as a bit of a peek into the mind of our main protagonist. Make sure you check it out below, it’s nicely done.

I really like trailers like this set in the worlds games take place in, and as the game is set in 1912, and they find the building in 1981, I guess at some point during it we send a building crashing down :D

Or it’s a result of the tears in time-space as a result of Elizabeth…

Either way, I’m looking forward to finding out.

Lol typical Americans, trying to take credit for ending the Boxer Rebellion when it was a combined effort from many nations.

Gotta say, I loved how retro the footage looked though, looked very authentic of 1980s style Television lol.

Great trailer congratulation to the team that made it.
Seemed almost like a real “Unsolved Mysteries” episode in the way it was done.

Really looking forward to this game its the game I am waiting for.

That is a wonderful trailer, very evocative in it’s hints.

That is an amazing trailer. Stands out a lot from other video game trailers.

This is still my favourite pretend-doco-thingy-attached-to-a-game-but-not-directiy-referencing-the-game-type-thingy.

Actually convinced a (reasonably intelligent) mate of mine that it was made by a real US lobby group scared of future tech. He got pretty mad, being a scientist and all.
