Elite: Dangerous Kickstarter approaches goal with 60 hours left on the clock

Elite: Dangerous looks like it’s about to become a reality, with David Braben’s new installment in the much-loved series approaching its goal as the clock ticks down to sixty hours.
The project is currently sitting at £1,177,492 pledged of its £1,250,000 goal, and, if it maintains its current rate, should make it over the line well before the end of the week. If they reach £1.4 million, the developers are promising a Mac version, and £80+ pledge givers are to be given free expansions for the base game.
