Diablo 3 working on a console at Blizzard HQ, company still exploring options

Polygon brings word that the scientitians inside Blizzard HQ now have Diablo III “up and running” on an unspecified console device and is “kind of exploring it”.
“We’ve got builds up and running on it,” said Rob Pardo, chief creative officer.
“We’re hoping to get it far enough along where we can make it an official project, but we’re not quite ready to release stuff about it, but it’s looking pretty cool.”
Meanwhile, D3‘s lead designer Jay Wilson told the site that the whole team is “working on the next big Diablo thing. A lot of that stuff will show up next year at some point.”

I’ve tried unsuccessfully to log in the last couple of nights. Server status was good. Thought I’d give it a go after a couple of months, so much for that idea!

i got bored n started playing again on sunday , fk the consoles , they just need to release more content for pc ffs , should have done something before christmas imo , waiting till next year sometime is a joke when they have so many resources at there disposal.
I wonder if it will magically be a good game on consoles.
WiiU perhaps? It’d make sense on that platform.

Snaaaap… I’m amazed Blizz didn’t get more hate over D3, one of (if not THE) most anticipated games ever and it was total garbage after about 4 hours play.
Yeah, you don’t have to leave the game to check the auction house as you can bring it up on the controller’s screen ;-)
But seriously, I don’t have much confidence in Blizzard after the whole Starcraft Ghost failure. They’ve missed their deadline by almost 3 years now:
