City Interactive have just sent through their latest trailer for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. Entitled ‘Brutal War Crimes’, it shows two minutes of in-engine footage pieced together using CryENGINE 3, and it’s certainly looking quite nice. The game is currently slated for a January 18 release in Australia.

looks pretty cool, i hope there is more stealth, i heard the all out action killed the game and didn’t really make it a proper sniper sorta game.

I hope that bullet kill cam is in it too, that was awsome in sniper elite v2

The first one had good weapons and ballistics but terrible everything else. The horrible forced action levels almost made the game unbearable for me but the stealth shooting was pretty fun. Hopefully they do a better job of this one.

If you think the games gonna be different than the first youre right, a new story! if you liked the first then LINE UP, if you have sense, walk away. In the words Vas. “Did i tell you the meaning of insanity?”

Haha spike is spot on. The company have been making sniper games for ages (previously under the sharpshooter title) and they are all pretty much the same. Close quaters sniping with forced sections of action. We can hope for something different with this one, but I really wouldn’t be counting on it!
